Urban Engineers Promotes Meredith Clark to Vice President

Urban Engineers has announced that Meredith Clark, PHR, SHRM-CP, has been promoted to vice president.

Urban Engineers has announced that Meredith Clark, PHR, SHRM-CP, has been promoted to vice president. She serves as the firm’s director of human resources.

“At Urban, it is important to us to identify leaders within our firm and recognize them for their contribution to our success,” said Urban Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Bernard Carolan. “Meredith has been a tremendous asset for the past 10 years not only for our human resources group, but the firm as a whole. We could not be more excited to name her a vice president.”

In her role as director of human resources, Clark partners with Urban’s executive management team, leading strategic initiatives and providing guidance on the organization's approach to its people. She manages all activities associated with the human resources function including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefit administration and planning, performance management, policy compliance, employee relations, and employee retention.

Clark is a human Resources Certification Institute registered Professional in Human Resources and a Society of Human Resource Management Certified Professional. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, specializing in human resources management from Drexel University, and earned her master’s degree in human resources development from Villanova University. Clark joined Urban in 2008 and was promoted to human resources manager in 2012. She took management responsibility for the human resources group in 2013 and was subsequently promoted to director in 2016.
