TranSystems announced recently that Peter Espy has joined the firm as a vice president to head up the firm’s passenger rail and transit projects on the West Coast.

Espy comes to TranSystems with a long resume of leadership in railroading and public transportation working on projects in the United States and around the world. Among his recent assignments was as the general manager of Peru Rail, a 600-mile passenger and freight railway. Espy was a core member of the engineering and procurement group for Amtrak’s Acela High Speed Rail Program. His responsibilities during his career have included general management, operations, and transportation infrastructure.
