Seon Design Inc. is pleased to announce that Director of Sales Chris Akiyama has been elected to the Canadian Urban Transit Association Board (CUTA). The election took place at the organization’s annual general meeting on June 10, 2009.

CUTA represents the public transit community in Canada. The membership includes 120 transit systems, 15 government agencies, 250 business members and 50 affiliates. CUTA’s mission is “to establish public transit as the primary solution to urban mobility in the achievement of sustainable transportation, and to assist its members in the fulfillment of their mandates.” CUTA is the voice for enhancing the public transit industry in Canada.
