Mountain Metropolitan Transit 23rd Annual Bike to Work Day Event
Bike to Work Day is less than a week away, but there’s still time to sign up for this free event Wednesday, June 22. Riders can register to ride to any one of 12 breakfast locations stretching from Monument all the way to Fountain. Join the hundreds of cyclists who have already signed up to ride to work on this national day celebrating the many benefits of leaving the car at home and riding a bike to work.
Join Mayor John Suthers and his wife Janet on the Mayor’s Ride which departs Goose Gossage Park at 6 a.m. and travels to America the Beautiful Park. A bagel breakfast with all the trimmings will be available at America the Beautiful Park, University Village Colorado, and 10 YMCA locations including:
- Briargate
- Garden Ranch
- Southeast
- Memorial Park
- Colorado Springs Senior Center
- Cottonwood Creek
- Downtown
- Tri-Lakes
- Fountain Valley
- Wilson Ranch
Bike to Work Day is not just a celebration during the morning commute. Cyclists can ride to any of the local businesses listed below and show them an event sticker for a special deal.
