Salish Orca, the first of three new Salish Class vessels, stopped in Santa Cruz, Canary Islands on Wednesday, November 30 for refuelling and provisioning, and is now en route across the Atlantic Ocean to Panama.
Salish Orca, the first of three new Salish Class vessels, stopped in Santa Cruz, Canary Islands on Wednesday, November 30 for refuelling and provisioning, and is now en route across the Atlantic Ocean to Panama. The vessel is expected to arrive in Panama in approximately two weeks, depending on weather.
The voyage is going well according to the ship’s crew. BC Ferries looks forward to welcoming Salish Orca home to British Columbia in early January.
