The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) has awarded Goodyear a five-year lease contract to supply commercial bus tires and retreads beginning June 1.
Goodyear says PSTA has a fleet of more than 200 vehicles and has annual ridership of 12.1 million people. PSTA’s transit coverage includes St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs, Madeira Beach, East Lake and other communities in western Florida.
“We are pleased to provide Goodyear products to essential services like public transit that help people get where they need to go,” said Mike Cairns, general manager, Mileage Sales, Lease & Service. “We look forward to serving this customer through our Goodyear Mileage Lease program.”
PSTA’s fleet is comprised of clean diesel, diesel-electric hybrid and battery-electric buses.
