PG Transit will take over handyDART operations in the Prince George Transit System Aug. 1.
All registered handyDART customers have been informed of this change, which will not impact service. All the information and processes regarding service, scheduling and fares will remain the same. Additionally, the software program that manages trip bookings will relocate to PG Transit, ensuring all existing subscription and repeater trip schedules will not be affected.
PG Transit was awarded the contract through BC Transit’s standard Request for Proposals process. The contract includes conventional and handyDART service in the Prince George Transit System, along with service in the Bulkley Nechako Regional Transit System.
