Maintenance Design Group has expanded its service offerings to include mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing (MEP) design.
This additional scope of work is a natural expansion of the firm’s current services. Because of the equipment intensive nature of maintenance facilities and the specialized requirements for process piping, power, lighting, ventilation, and alternative fuels impacts on these systems, the firm’s design scope is already deeply intertwined with the MEP systems -- so much so, that much of what MDG does informs the MEP design of these buildings.
"Providing in-house MEP engineers that, like our facility designers and planners, are the national maintenance facility experts, offers our clients a much more holistic, integrated facility," states Don Leidy, managing principal of MDG.
