On Nov. 11, SamTrans had one its own participating in the Veteran’s Day ceremonies in the nation’s capital.
In recognition of her volunteer work with the Blue Star Moms, Data Technician Amy O’Campo, was invited to join in the ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider at Arlington National Cemetery.
As in previous years, SamTrans is running a special message on all its buses acknowledging the holiday and the contributions of its employees and customers who have served our country. The lighted sign on the front of all SamTrans buses is programmed to read “SamTrans Salutes America’s Veterans” in between the regular announcement indicating the vehicles’ destination.
