The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is partnering with Immunize Nevada and the Washoe County Health District to provide vaccines at a clinic taking place at RTC Centennial Plaza on Victorian Avenue in Sparks on Dec. 9.
The Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County is partnering with Immunize Nevada and the Washoe County Health District to provide vaccines at a clinic taking place at RTC Centennial Plaza on Victorian Avenue in Sparks on Dec. 9. The clinic will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Flu shots will be given to those six months and older. Insurance is accepted at the clinic, but it is not required.
“One of our guiding principles at the RTC is creating safe and healthy communities. This is a great opportunity for people to prevent getting sick, and we’re proud to partner with these agencies to provide these vaccines,” RTC Executive Director Lee Gibson said.
Dec. 7 -13 is National Influenza Vaccination Week.
