Brendan Cotter Joins LANTA
Brendan W. Cotter has been named director of planning and development at Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANTA). The appointment was announced by Owen P. O'Neil, executive director.
Cotter will be responsible for the authority's bus route planning and development, implementing transit-friendly land use policies within the regional transportation planning process, integrating technology solutions and developing special projects to revise and expand LANtaBus operations. In addition, he will manage grant administration, passenger facilities and amenities planning, public information and ridership development.
Cotter joins LANTA after serving as management analyst with Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). He has also held planning positions with Delaware County Planning Department, and Transportation Management Association of Chester County.
The Delaware County, Pennsylvania, native holds a bachelor's degree in geography & planning with a concentration in urban and regional planning from Westchester University, and is currently completing his MBA at Rosemont College.
