Maintenance Design Group (MDG) celebrated 20 years in business on May 1. The firm was established in 1995 as an independent consulting practice with a singular focus on providing planning and design for operations and maintenance facilities. MDG serves a client base which includes transit agencies, municipalities, and other governmental entities such as colleges and universities, utilities, school districts, and the military.
MDG’s Managing Principal Don Leidy, has been at the helm of the company since its inception. Leidy states, “It’s been an honor and a pleasure to work for our clients over the past 20 years. Through our work on their projects, we’ve had the opportunity to create functional, innovative, and sustainable design solutions with many of our concepts and features becoming industry standards.”
Maintenance Design Group has grown from one employee in 1995 to more than 30 today and has expanded its services to include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering. The firm has completed more than 650 projects throughout North America from offices in Denver, Houston, Baltimore and Los Angeles.
