Mary E. Peters, the U.S. secretary of transportation from 2006-2009, and Steve Norris, a former minister of transport and member of the British Parliament for 14 years, will be keynote speakers at the Transport Chicago 2015 event.
Now in its 30th year, Transport Chicago is an annual conference that brings together more than 250 transportation industry professionals and members of the academic community to share and explore a wide range of research and study. The event features opening and luncheon keynote presentations, more than 30 workshops and presentations, and a student poster session.
Transport Chicago 2015 will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 12 at the University of Illinois at Chicago Student Center East, 750 S. Halsted St., Chicago.
