4One announced on June 17 two new breakthroughs in bus seating safety, comfort and accessibility. After months of research and development and rigorous testing, 4One introduced its new GrabHold seating for mass transit buses, and the newly redesigned Torino GT for motor coach vehicles.
New GrabHold
4One's new GrabHold, with built-in safety grab handle, helps protect passengers from sudden shifts in bus movement.
GrabHold’s structure allows an installation and retrofit compatible with 4One seating and most others on the market.
Newly Redesigned Torino GT
4One’s Torino G seat reemerged as the new Torino GT.
The newly redesigned Torino GT seat has a 2.25 inches more hip-to-knee room.
The Torino GT is tested to exceed the normal Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) for 2016.
“At 4One, we strive to exceed expectations by developing visionary seating ideas that transform the end-user’s rider experience,” said Dan Cohen, vice president of Freedman Seating and 4One. “Our robust, consumer-centric product development process helps us achieve the best possible outcome for commuters and travelers in the markets we serve.”
“We are excited about our new GrabHold seating line’s potential to help our customers achieve increased seating capacity and operational efficiencies,” said Ray Melleady of USSC. “As always, we look forward with great enthusiasm to working with transit agencies, bus companies and motor coach owners in presenting GrabHold’s unique and truly multi-purpose seating solution for today’s dynamic transportation industry.”
