Finch Transportation Hires New Director of Operations
Seeking to keep pace with its annual double-digit growth, today NW Florida’s Finch Transportation LLC welcomed New York City veteran Paul Pasternak to its management team. Pasternak will take over the company’s shuttle and limousine divisions, along with the dispatch and training areas of the company. John Finch, Sunshine’s owner, sees this as another positive step in maintaining the company’s stellar reputation while balancing its core customer service initiatives.
“Mr. Pasternak brings not only 12-years of industry knowledge,” said Finch. “He’s also a ‘customer first, never say no’ type of manager. With the high number of runs he’s accustomed to dispatching, along with hundreds of chauffeurs and reservationists he has trained, he will strengthen the team as we continue to perfect the customer experience.”
Pasternak is another strong player in what already is a deep bench. Previously with NYC’s Chauffeured Executive Transportation, being approached by the largest ground transportation company along Florida’s Emerald Coast was a pleasant surprise.
“When presented with this opportunity, and coming down to meet the management team, I was very impressed by the level of passion on display by the owner, John,” he said. “His hands-on approach, coupled with the fact that he’s worked in every area of the company, convinced me he was sincere in his efforts to bring me on-board.”
Due to Sunshine’s year-to-year growth, including a significant jump in its coach business, COO Richard Martin says, “When you expand at such a fast pace, it’s difficult to maintain the same level of integrity you had as a small company. We seek people who cannot only talk the talk, but back it up with experience and strong ethics. Paul is the total package.”
Adds Pasternak, “My experience in New York’s fast-paced environment will help continue the company’s never say no to a customer attitude. I look forward to sharing my sense of innovation and my knowledge of every facet of this multi-billion dollar industry.”
