The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announces the appointment of Matt Allison as director of transportation, and Lee Jackson as director of vehicle maintenance.
Allison began his career at COTA in 1989 as a farebox collector and has held key positions in both the vehicle maintenance and transportation departments. Most recently, he served as superintendent of transportation.
Allison lives in Columbus.
Jackson has more than 37 years of experience in maintenance and transit, and over 20 years of management experience. He most recently worked for Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority (Max) in Alabama as director of maintenance. Jackson spent the majority of his career at Nashville MTA where he began working in the machine shop and body shop in 1978.
Jackson lives in Columbus.
