Complete Coach Works (CCW) announced it has finished a contract from City Utilities of Springfield (CU) of supplying seven rehabilitated 35-foot low-floor buses.
The two-door 35-foot remanufactured buses will ease the onboarding process, expedite stops, allow an increase in rider capacity, and significantly improve wheelchair accessibility.
Jay Raber, CCW’s regional sales manager, said, “this project is outstanding because we were able to provide CU with their first set of remanufactured vehicles, which is not only economically convenient for them, but also helps the environment by allowing true recycling of buses.”
CCW’s rehabilitated buses will help alleviate City Utilities of Springfield’s four heaviest routes by providing reliable buses for years to come.
