On Oct. 24, TransIT Services of Frederick County hosted a training class administered by a group of therapy dogs and their handlers. The Go Team Therapy/Crisis/Service dogs and handlers held the half day class in the TransIT bus lot, using two Connector buses as their classroom.
The goal of the class was to help the dogs become accustomed to riding the bus. The class provides hands-on training for the dogs and handlers about bus etiquette, boarding and exiting the bus and more. The Go Team therapy dog and handler group conducts trainings all across the country with the help of volunteers.
