    SEPTA Donates 10,000 Toys to Local Children

    SEPTA employees gave Santa a helping hand by donating 10,000 toys to the authority’s 35th annual “Yuletoy” Toy Drive.

    Games, dolls and bikes for children of all ages were collected by SEPTA employees at all of the authority’s shops, districts, depots and Center City headquarters. On Dec. 23, SEPTA employees stuffed two buses, including one decorated like Thomas the Tank Engine and delivered the gifts to several agencies in SEPTA’s service region. 

    Among the groups benefitting from the Yuletoy Drive were Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Calvary Chapel Word of Life, Neighbor to Neighbor, Whosoever Gospel Mission and The Rock.
