This holiday season, Durham Region Transit (DRT) is your easy, convenient and reliable service option for getting to your holiday destination safely.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship by Ontario Power Generation and the Durham Regional Police Services Board, DRT is pleased to offer free and extended service on New Year’s Eve. Fare is free from 8 p.m. to the last ride of the night. If you’re out celebrating, let DRT be your designated driver. Be good for goodness sake, and let DRT take you home safe!
The free and extended New Year’s Eve service also applies to Specialized Services. As usual for Specialized Services, trips will be first come first serve and may be reserved up to seven days in advance (based on availability), until 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 30.
