In support of opening day of the new Veterans Affairs Medical Clinic on Monday, Jan. 25, the public is invited to utilize LTD to get there for free.
“In September we extended our Route 12 – Gateway to directly serve the new clinic.” says Andy Vobora, director of customer services and planning for LTD. “The route now runs further north on Gateway and drops passengers off near the entrance on Chad Drive every 30 minutes during the week, making getting there by public transit very easy.”
Passengers may simply share with their bus operator or fare collector on EmX that they are going to the new VA Clinic to receive an LTD day pass, good for travel on Jan. 25.
