On Aug. 28, the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) opened up Ride Gwinnett Route 70, a new fixed bus route that will contribute to enhanced transit connectivity and accessibility in Gwinnett County. This route will link downtown Snellville to Indian Creek Station, and the greater MARTA system, supporting public transportation options for residents and commuters.
Ride Gwinnett Route 70 incorporates stops along Highway 78, including the Amazon Distribution Warehouse in Stone Mountain, serving as a vital connection for employees.
The fare for the new fixed route will remain at $2.50 per trip. There are free transfers from Ride Gwinnett to MARTA with the use of Breeze Mobile 2.0 or a Breeze Card. Transfers automatically upload on the Breeze Card during initial boarding.
