Proheat X30 is a diesel fired auxiliary heater that helps keep drivers and passengers safe and warm by providing additional heat to the bus HVAC system whenever needed. Installed in line with the coolant loop, these heaters operate autonomously to reduce the warmup period of the engine thereby reducing emissions. The heaters continue to monitor and supplement coolant temperatures to ensure maximum comfort and safety for operators and passengers regardless of the outside temperatures. Proheat heaters have technology such as closed loop O2 sensing to ensure clean, smoke free operation over a wide range of environmental variables such as temperature and altitude and require less maintenance.
