On my way to a @Phillies game and do my eyes deceive me? Are these USB ports on a @SEPTAPHILLY bus?! Looks like someone’s been stepping up their game.

Spokane Transit is working with city to build in-lane stops with 10” curbs in street reconstruction projects. Reduce dwell time today, work toward BRT in the future. #trb

Milwaukee history was made yesterday, as we celebrated the substantial completion of The Hop's Main Line with a ceremonial "last weld." Hundreds of Milwaukeeans enjoyed a beautiful sunny day and signed a piece of commemorative rail that will be publicly displayed. #TheHopMKE

TriMet

Commemorating May 26, 2017

On the afternoon of May 26, 2017, three riders on board a TriMet MAX train approaching Hollywood Transit Center were assaulted after they stood up to a man who was harassing two young women based on their race and religion. Two of the intervening riders were killed and the third was left with life-threatening injuries.

The tragedy sparked an immediate and tremendous outpouring of love and support at the transit center.

To honor the lives lost, the strength of those who stood up to hate and the emotional outpouring in the days after the attack, artist Sarah Farahat and her team created a mural entitled “We Choose Love.”
