The Automotive Lift Institute, Inc. (ALI) was founded in 1945 as the trade association of U.S. manufacturers of in-ground lifts. By 1988 ALI welcomed members from Canada as well as North American based marketers of automotive lifts produced and distributed globally.
ALI's mission is to promote the safe design, construction, installation, service, and use of automotive lifts.
