The Metro RTA board isn’t rushing to find a new leader after firing its executive director late last month.
The board hasn’t made any decisions about the hiring process, set a timeline or met yet to discuss the issue.
The board, which oversees Summit County’s public bus company, fired former Executive Director Richard Enty on Jan. 26 following a series of issues. The Ohio Ethics Commission also is investigating a questionable financial relationship between him and former board member Saundra Foster, and the FBI has requested documentation from the transit agency.
