BLACKSBURG — For the first time in 35 years, Blacksburg Transit buses will have a new look.
Over the next several months, most of the buses will be painted maroon at the rear and decorated in a pattern of dark and light grey elliptical stripes at the front.
The new design, which will replace a primary pattern that has been in use since the BT bus service launched in 1983, was unveiled during a Tuesday afternoon ceremony in front of the historic Lyric Theatre on College Avenue.
