LA: New Orleans Regional Transit Authority Taps New Chairman

Flozell Daniels Jr., the president of the Foundation for Louisiana in Baton Rouge, will serve as chairman of the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, the board that governs RTA decided this week.

Daniels, an RTA board member since 2011, replaces former chairwoman Sharonda Williams, who left the board this month ahead of Mayor LaToya Cantrell’s inauguration.

Earline Roth, an RTA member since 1995, will continue to serve as vice-chairwoman.
