The board of the troubled Regional Transit Authority took a couple of sharp turns at a three-hour meeting Tuesday.
In the end, acting president Dennis Clough was elected president for a year and Rev. Charles Lucas vice president.
During the meeting, board member Valarie McCall withdrew her bid for board president or vice president, saying, "There is a situation of mistrust" within the board and the agency.
