APTA Expo 2011 Registration is Open
Registration is now open for the American Public Transportation Association’s (APTA) 2011 EXPO, the largest public transportation showcase in the world. This premier Expo will take place October 3-5, 2011 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La.
Registration for the Expo is free.
More than 750 exhibitors showcasing a full spectrum of the latest in public transportation products, services, and technologies will be on display. Held every three years in conjunction with APTA’s Annual Meeting, this three-day tradeshow will welcome more than 17,000 transit professionals from over 50 countries.
“Expo is all about big ideas, big solutions and big results,” said APTA President William Millar. “Participation in APTA’s 2011 Expo is a critical investment for any organization in the public transportation industry. This is an opportunity for attendees to take their organizations and careers further.”
The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is hosting this year’s Expo.
“Expo is the one place where you can find the products and services, people, and information vital to operating a successful public transportation system -- all under one roof,” said Michael P. Melaniphy, vice president of public sector at Motor Coach Inc. and chair of APTA’s Expo Advisory Committee. “And what better location than exciting New Orleans to match the excitement of Expo.”
