The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) announced the appointment of Kristen Treadway to the position of Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations effective July 20.
Treadway has fifteen years of experience in Human Resources. From 2002 to the present, Treadway was the Director of Human Resources for the City of Gahanna, Ohio, where she oversaw all Human Resources functions for the city of 36,000 people. Treadway was responsible for creating the City's first Human Resources Department and integrating it into the culture of Gahanna.
"We are pleased to have such a knowledgeable and motivated person leading our Human Resources team," said COTA President/CEO Bill Lhota. "Kristen has proven to be an excellent communicator and her experience will significantly contribute to COTA's operations. She will be an invaluable addition to the company."
Treadway is responsible for implementing strategic human resource goals and objectives, promoting healthy and effective employee relations, and overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive training, education and employee development programs that encourage individual and organizational success.
Treadway received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York, College at Oswego, and a minor in Economics with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
