Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz (KMD), an international leader in groundbreaking architecture and design, announces the selection of Eric Edwards as director of marketing. Edwards joins KMD to provide strategic direction and oversight of its high-performance marketing and business development operations worldwide.
In making this announcement, Roy Latka president of KMD, said, “KMD Architects is poised to grow into emerging markets and this appointment represents a strategic step toward achieving that goal. Eric has a creative vision and a wealth of experience for building dynamic marketing teams that will strengthen and grow the KMD brand globally. We are excited to have him come aboard.”
Edwards comes to KMD with a range of industry experience, most recently as the West Coast marketing manager for SmithGroup’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices. In that role, he developed and directed strategic marketing and business development efforts along with oversight of West Coast marketing staff. Edwards also held positions as Federal Services Marketing Team Leader for HNTB in Kansas City, as well as a number of other marketing positions in the A/E/C industry for the past 14 years. Edwards is an award-winning marketing professional receiving recognition for public relations campaigns, writing and graphic design.
