RNL announces that Ken Anderson, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to associate principal. Trent Cito, RLA, and Ryan Dawson, AIA, LEED AP, have been promoted to senior associate. Nathan Gulash, AIA, LEED AP, Paula McAtee, NCIDQ, LEED AP, Will Todd, Associate AIA, LEED GA, Dominic Weilminster, Associate AIA, LEED AP BD+C, and Lisa Glass, LEED AP, were named associates.
Ken J. Anderson, AIA, LEED AP, associate principal, is the studio lead for RNL's Washington, D.C. office. With more than 15 years of experience as an architect and project manager in the design industry, Anderson leads RNL's transportation work for the East Coast and Southwest regions. His experience involves a diverse number of project types, including mixed-use commercial, urban design, civi, and religious architecture. Ken is active in the Virginia Transit Association (VTA), Southwest Transit Association (SWTA) and American Public Transportation Association (APTA), for which he is also a frequent speaker. He has served as a board member for several organizations, including Friends of Transit, Phoenix Community Alliance, and United Methodist Board of Camping.
Trent J. Cito, RLA, senior associate, has more than 15 years of experience in the AEC industry. He brings extensive knowledge of the latest CAD modeling and visualization software to his position as 3-D/Visualization Manager at RNL. Cito's expertise, and that of his team, helps to communicate the intricacies of project designs to clients early in the design process. He actively contributes to visualization software development and keeps the firm abreast of the latest trends via internal training programs. Cito is an Autodesk University Virtual Speaker and chairman for the advisory committee at Boulder Valley Tech.
Ryan Z. Dawson, AIA, LEED AP, senior associate, is a designer known for his ability to combine a full spectrum of computer design, illustration and presentation skills with creativity and attention to detail. In 2011, Ryan was awarded three AIA design awards in the unbuilt category for the RTD Commuter Rail Maintenance Facility (CRMF) — the first project for which Dawson served as lead designer. Also in 2011, Dawson was selected Intern Architect of the Year by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Colorado. He has served in various leadership roles for the Denver and Colorado Chapter's of the AIA and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and NAIOP Colorado.
