LeighFisher announced today that it has acquired the London and Netherlands-based transportation practice of Booz & Company to strengthen its European infrastructure consulting operations.
The acquisition doubles the size of LeighFisher's European operation, strengthening its team of industry experts as the company expands into new markets globally.
The newly acquired practice brings with it a range of capabilities including transportation policy and regulatory analysis, financial and business planning, rail technology and business operations, economic analysis and forecasting, and security planning.
LeighFisher President Nick Davidson said: "This is an exciting addition to our European practice, complementing our highly respected existing team and boosting our expertise in high-speed rail, transport and energy economics, government policy, aviation security, and air traffic management. Our UK-based staff also support our ambitions to expand further our market-leading airport facilities planning and operational capabilities."
Globally, LeighFisher has recently been involved in many major infrastructure projects in the United States, Europe, Latin America, Asia and India.
