Brock LaForty has been named area manager of the Charlotte, N.C., office of Parsons Brinckerhoff. In his new position, LaForty will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s operations throughout the Charlotte region.
LaForty comes to Parsons Brinckerhoff with more than 16 years of transportation industry experience, having managed an extensive portfolio of feasibility studies, corridor studies, transportation plans, alternatives analyses and environmental documents. He previously served as a senior associate at STV Inc. where he led the national transportation planning practice.
LaForty received a B.A. from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and the American Planning Association.
