Busworld International is pleased to announce its next Busworld Asia trade fair show in cooperation with Auto Guangzhou during November 22nd - 24th, 2012 in Guangzhou at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Pazhou Island.
To offer a stronger Busworld Asia that is meeting industry demands with more return value for its exhibitors and visitors, Busworld Asia 2012 will cooperate side by side with Auto Guangzhou to combine each other’s industry and brand strengths, influences, resources and expertise. Busworld Asia and Auto Guangzhou truly believe in their new alliance and mission to create the most important bus and coach trade platform in China and the broader Southeast Asian region.
For the 12th edition, Busworld Asia will focus on attracting international visitors from important Chinese export markets, the Chinese market demand for school buses, and the Chinese achievements regarding green technologies and sustainable people’s mobility projects. More details about these specific projects will soon follow.
Busworld Asia 2012 will be benefited by Auto Guangzhou’s sturdy roots in the Chinese automotive industry, its preceding nine successful exhibitions, making it the third biggest Auto Show in China, and its influential organizational and government support from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the Municipal People’s Government of Guangzhou, regional government commissions, industry associations and federations, and enterprise groups.
The CCPIT, also known as the China Chamber of International Commerce, possesses a strong network of relations with worldwide government institutions and consulates that can assist in providing access to the Busworld Asia visitor target groups. Furthermore, the Municipal People’s Government of Guangzhou enjoys close contact with the Guangdong Department of Education, a main customer of school buses, and with the Guangdong Department of Tourism and Public Transport. These influential sources provide Busworld Asia 2012 with the opportunity to invite key policy makers and purchasing powers.
For the promotion of Busworld Asia 2012 and the brand promotion and exposure of its exhibitors, Auto Guangzhou will share its strong media channels, her over 45 industry media partners and over 100 consumer media partners. Auto Guangzhou’s strong media resources do not only bring about more media presence, but also a tremendous visitor flow of 500,000 visitors. Busworld Asia 2012 will hence receive equally more attention, particularly from the consumer market. This gives the bus builders a beneficial occasion to highlight their brand image, considering that green public transport and especially the frequent and severe accidents with school buses in China cause great social concerns with the Chinese public.
Busworld Asia 2012 will welcome you at the prosperous city of Guangzhou or Canton, the capital of Guangdong Province. Guangzhou is located in southern China, about 120 km northwest of Hong Kong and 107 km north of Macau. Guangzhou is China’s third largest city and a key national transportation and auto manufacturing hub, as well as one of the three key trading ports in China due to its location at the Pearl River Delta, providing a strong economic link with and great accessibility to Southeast Asia.
Under coordination of Luc Glorieux - founder of Busworld and former Secretary-General of B.A.A.V., Mieke Glorieux - General Manager of Busworld International, Didier Ramoudt - President of Busworld International, Redgy Deschacht - President of B.A.A.V., and under project management of VNU Exhibitions Asia’s Managing Director Mao Daben and Director Kitty Bai, who have over 30 combined years of event management experience, the joint forces of Busworld Asia and Auto Guangzhou will deliver a new boost to Busworld Asia 2012: internationality, industrial presence, networking, brand promotion, technological innovations, sharing of know-how and expertise, and market prospecting, will be more profoundly highlighted than before.
To make Busworld Asia 2012 a successful edition, close contact with the Chinese bus building industry, is being realized by meetings between Luc Glorieux and the top executives of the Chinese bus building industry with whom Luc Glorieux is closely befriended for many years.
Busworld International and Busworld Kortrijk will also assist in the media promotion of Busworld Asia 2012. Busworld Kortrijk succeeded in raising its visitors with 27.8 percent and will put its successful promotional channels at the disposal of Busworld Asia and its exhibitors. Next to the Busworld Asia promotional channels, the official website of Busworld.org, the Busworld facebook-page and twitter-account, and e-newsletters will be opened up to exhibitors, providing them with a valuable and strong exposure platform.
Further, this edition will give special attention to China’s main export regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Russia by making the recruiting of international visitors as one of its priorities and by consulting Busworld International’s visitor database and relationships with industry federations, associations and specialized media.
Topical Chinese bus and coach market segments, like new energy buses, school buses, luxury buses and coaches, point out the vast business opportunities present in the Chinese bus and coach industry. Busworld Asia 2012 will pay deep focus to these developments, by offering the proper communication and discussion forums in its side-events program, connecting manufacturers, suppliers, operators, policy makers, and technical experts from China and abroad with each other.
