Ioannis Tassoulas has been named a supervising engineer in the Austin, Texas office of Parsons Brinckerhoff.
In his new position, Tassoulas will be responsible for managing the design of various infrastructure improvement projects throughout Texas. He has a broad background in the design and management of a wide range of transportation projects, including public-private partnerships, design-build, complex highways, multi-level interchanges, light rail transit, and bicycle and pedestrian paths. He previously served as an engineer in the Austin and San Diego offices of Parsons Brinckerhoff from January 1999 to December 2011.
Tassoulas received a master of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Patras in Greece. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
