Cynthia Roberts to Support First Transit National Call Center Operations
First Transit announced the appointment of Cynthia Roberts as manager, national call center operations. In this role, Roberts will be responsible for supporting and advising the company’s specialized transportation centers across the country.
Roberts is based in Hartford, Conn. and will spend much of her time on site at the company’s non-emergency Medicaid transportation and ADA paratransit call center locations focusing on operational support and client relations. She will also assist with business development efforts. Roberts will report directly to First Transit and First Vehicle Services President Brad Thomas.
She commented, “I’m excited about this new role in large part because it promotes First Transit’s commitment to our customers. I look forward to meeting face-to-face with our clients and ensuring that our services continue to meet their highest standards.”
Roberts joined First Transit in 2001 as general manager of the company’s NEMT location in Connecticut and has worked in various other roles including the management of brokerage operations. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Connecticut State Universities.
