ASK has been selected by Transport for London (TFL) organization to issue the first 3.5 million cards of the 4-year contract they have signed.
ASK offers an unrivalled experience in contactless media for large public transportation networks and has already issued over 18 million cards for London mass transit users.
“This new order strengthens our long time relationship with London and it rewards ASK global customer performance”, says Patrick Sure, transport business unit director at ASK.
ASK contactless cards are manufactured in its headquarters facilities in the Sophia Antipolis technology park, in the south of France. London is one of the 25 capital cities ASK serves with its comprehensive range of contactless products.
Launched in 2003, London is the largest contactless transportation scheme in Europe and the Oyster card enables approximately 10 million transactions each day.
