Wendel announced Dec. 18 that Tony Kellen has joined Wendel‘s Public Transportation Group to assist with the execution of regional and national public transportation and CNG projects.
Tony comes to Wendel with over 27 years of experience as a public transportation industry leader. His diverse background includes fleet operations and maintenance, as well as operations and facility planning. Tony has a broad knowledge of federal program compliance requirements and his expertise includes grant writing and lobbying at the federal and state levels. He is committed to assisting both public and private clients with delivering state-of-the-art transportation projects that set an example of excellence within the industry.
Most recently, Tony was director of operations and technology at St. Cloud Metropolitan Transit Commission. This month Kellen completes his eighth year as president of the Minnesota Public Transit Association, an organization of transit system operators, transit advocates and suppliers who work to support transportation alternatives and improve the quality of life for people in communities throughout Minnesota. Tony is a graduate of St. Cloud State University. He will be based out of Wendel’s Minneapolis office.
