The Baltimore office of Maintenance Design Group (MDG) has added two professionals.
Mike Stern, joined the firm in September as a senior facility design manager. He brings over 35 years of both domestic and international transit and rail project experience. His specific expertise includes service and maintenance shops, transit stations, parking garages, dispatching and data centers, intermodal and auto terminals, fueling and fuel storage facilities, washing facilities, wastewater treatment plants, and industrial engineering studies.
Stern has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and has served as the MEP project manager or task lead on major projects for Amtrak, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), Metro North Railroad (MNR), Long Island Railroad (LIRR), Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA), Southeast Pennsylvanian Transit Authority (SEPTA), Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), and New Jersey Transit (NJT), among others.
Josh Foster joined the Baltimore office in November as a facility designer. Josh holds a Master of Urban Design degree from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Fairmont State University. He brings experience in both architecture and urban design to his project work as well as 3D architectural modeling, sustainable design and project planning skills.
