TX: Speaker and Topic Proposals Now Being Accepted: March 10 Deadline
Proposals for speakers and topics at this year's NFC Solutions Summit are now being accepted.
We invite you to submit your proposal on the conference website. Proposals for educational conference presentations should be submitted online and will be reviewed by a multi-industry conference steering committee, lead by members of the Smart Card Alliance and NFC Forum. The deadline for submission is March 10--we encourage you to submit early.
The committee will be selecting presentations for this comprehensive conference showcasing the latest developments and trends of mobile technology and Near Field Communications (NFC). Co-produced by the Smart Card Alliance and NFC Forum under the theme “Secure Mobile Payments and Non-Financial Applications,” the conference will cover the state of this promising technology, developments in new NFC-enabled devices and add-ons, the status of the growing NFC ecosystem, the promise of NFC applications including secure payments, peer-to-peer services, and identity credentialing and access services, for the American and international markets. The committee seeks proposals that are consistent with these themes. Presentations are being sought in the following categories:
- Standards and Technology: smart phones and devices, NFC system architectures, standards for Trusted Service Manager (TSM), international standards and security specifications.
- Security and Applications Management: security architectures for NFC, bank card payments application security, identity credentials storage in NFC devices, NFC secure element architectures, NFC application download and management.
- Implementation and Applications: financial service applications, identity and security applications, smart posters and tags, ticketing and fare collection applications, mobile offers and coupon applications.
- Market Drivers and Business Models: challenges and opportunities for financial institutions, non-financial NFC services based on data transfer and peer to peer NFC modes, NFC business partnership opportunities and challenges, use cases for NFC, reports on commercial services and pilots.
The committee favors end-user perspectives and presenters, and vendor-neutral educational presentations that focus on the real-life applications of payment technologies and systems. Front-line implementers and end-users are given preference in the speaker selection process. Vendors are encouraged to recruit clients and partners who are front-line implementers or end-users as presenter.
I encourage you to consider submitting informative and relevant presentation topics, descriptions, and speaker suggestions for NFC Solutions Summit 2014. Speakers receive a complimentary full conference registration and exhibit pass if selected. Individuals will be notified in March if their submissions have been selected or not for the conference.
