CA: Tour Propane Autogas Technology at 2014 ACT Expo
A record number of propane autogas exhibitors, including propane autogas retailers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), are promoting clean, affordable propane autogas at the 2014 Alternative Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Long Beach, Calif., May 5-8.
Fleet operators who are looking for ways to cut costs and emissions will want to check out the autogas offerings, according to Roy Willis, president and CEO of the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC). “At this year’s ACT Expo, fleet managers have an unprecedented opportunity to explore the growing array of propane autogas vehicle and engine options and learn what has made this powerful, American-made alternative fuel so desirable,” Willis said.
Ten medium- and light-duty OEMs, infrastructure providers, and conversion partners are exhibiting technology in the ACT Expo Hall. PERC encourages attendees to visit booth 911 and pick up a Propane Autogas Rewards Tour card, which offers attendees a Starbucks gift card for visiting propane the following exhibitor booths:
- Alliance AutoGas
- CleanFuel USA
- Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp.
- Icom
- Isuzu
- New Eagle
- Power Solutions International
- Powertrain Integration
- Roush CleanTech
At the PERC booth, a Roush CleanTech E-450 transit shuttle bus and the newly released MT45 strip chassis from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (FCCC) will be on display. New flat tank fuel storage technology from Propane Performance Industries (PPI), an Exmark Lazer Z S-Series propane-powered lawn mower with a Kohler EFI powerplant engine, and a Superior Energy Systems autogas dispenser will also be displayed at booth 911.
Lead the Way Pre-conference Event
