The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) and car2go are partnering to provide complementary alternative transportation options to customers in the Linden and Clintonville areas. Beginning Aug. 26, bus riders and customers of the car sharing service may park car2go vehicles at COTA’s Northern Lights Shopping Center Park & Ride in the Linden area and the Delawanda Park-and-Ride in the Clintonville area.
“We’re excited to partner with COTA to provide more transportation options for residents that live, work and play in the Clintonville and Linden areas,” said car2go Columbus General Manager Chet Ridenour.
Customers are encouraged to ride COTA and use car2go as a first and last mile option. COTA Lines 2, 4, 31 and 95 serve the Delawanda Park & Ride. Lines 1, 9, 27, 35, 37, 83 and 87 serve the Northern Lights Park & Ride.
“Our partnership with car2go is an example of how COTA works to improve mobility options for people in central Ohio,” said COTA President/CEO Curtis Stitt. “We’re pleased to share space with car2go at these Park & Rides and make alternative transportation options even more accessible to our community.”
