UTA bike kits are back.
Come visit UTA representatives at the Sorenson Unity Center on Sept. 15 from 3:30 pm.p to 5:30 p.m. and learn how to keep your children safe as they bike to and from school and play. You can get your kids’ bike brakes checked and have the tires pumped up. While you’re there, pick up a bike kit for your child or teen, complete with a yellow safety vest, safety light, bell, reflective stickers and more.
Approximately 100 bike kits will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. This event is sponsored in partnership with the Sorenson Unity Center, Wasatch Front Regional Council, Salt Lake City and Bike Utah.
UTA offers many resources to support cycling as a way to reach public transportation, including long-term and day-use bike lockers, new bike racks on TRAX, cycling paths to transit and more.
