Inovatica and its TransitArt: Material UI Timetables KIT are among 52 European projects that started accelerating in the Finodex-Fiware. A panel of experts chose the company from a group of 297 ICT projects based on the use of open data.
Finodex-Fiware is an European accelerator selecting, donating and providing support for small and medium enterprises making ICT products and solutions based on the reuse of open data and Fiware technology. The total amount of funds that the accelerator is planning to spend on grants for projects participating in the acceleration process is nearly 5 million euros!
"We have created TransitArt basing on the experience gained in previous projects: Poloko.pl public transport search engine, [email protected] portal and a partnership with Google," says CEO of Inovatica, Bogumił Zięba. "With the support of the accelerator want to disseminate our product on the European market and establish valuable business contacts."
TransitArt allows users to intuitively check the timetables of public transport carriers, plan travel with different means of communication (multimodality) and track movement of vehicles in real time (real time journey planner).
