Nettbuss AS is moving ahead with the upgrade to GIRO’s Hastus 2016. Nettbuss has been relying on the Hastus software solution – with regular upgrades – since 1996 to optimize its scheduling and operations.
Chief among the new features that Nettbuss wants to take advantage of with this latest upgrade are enhancements to the 2016 SelfService module. Now optimized for use on devices with touch interactivity – such as tablets – SelfService allows employees Web-based access to various Hastusfunctionalities, providing a secure and convenient way of giving and receiving information or exchanging work or vacations.
“We place a great reliance on Hastus and it is important to us to keep our installation up to date,” said Harald Ursin Knudsen, project manager at Nettbuss AS. “We are particularly looking forward to the added benefits of the SelfService module, which we believe will be appreciated by our drivers for giving them quick and convenient access to information about their assignments.”
“This contract once again underlines the strong relationship that Nettbuss and GIRO have built over nearly 20 years,” stated Odd-Jørgen Sagdahl, GIRO’s director, Nordic Market. “We are confident that the new functionalities in Hastus 2016 will prove valuable to Nettbuss in continuing to manage the complexity of its operations, in maintaining employee satisfaction and in keeping pace with the market’s evolving expectations.”
