City Utilities Transit Driver Mark Morrison has been selected as the 2015 driver of the year. Mark has driven with CU Transit for 17 years and is respected for his professionalism and reliability. He often volunteers to assist with special projects for customers and his coworkers.
“I’m honored to be nominated and receive this award,” said Morrison, “It’s a joy to work with such great people.”
The Driver of the Year is chosen by CU Transit employees with selection criteria based on job performance, courtesy, neatness, attendance, accident-free driving, and attitude. The Driver of the Year receives one day of paid excused time, a reserved parking spot, gift cards to a retailer and restaurant of their choice, their name displayed on the outside of a fixed route bus, special uniform pin, and an engraved pen and pencil set and plaque.
There were nine candidates for 2015 Driver of the Year.
