LA Metro Statement on Belgium Subway System Terrorist Strike

While they maintain a high state of readiness at all times, they will be increasing security at Union Station, Rosa Parks Station and 7th/Metro Station.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) and the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, Transit Policing Division are aware of the terrorist strikes in Brussels Belgium and are monitoring the situation closely.

While they maintain a high state of readiness at all times, they will be increasing security at Union Station, Rosa Parks Station and 7th/Metro Station. They will continue to work with law enforcement at the local, state and federal level and are asking the public to help be their eyes and ears on the system.
