The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) and Regional Transportation Authority of Middle Tennessee (RTA) will join Nashvillians celebrating the environment at Nashville’s Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 23, in Centennial Park.
MTA/RTA’s nMotion strategic plan tour bus will be on display during the event, and staff will be present to discuss the three scenarios or proposals to improve the region’s public transit system.
Festival attendees are encouraged to take public transit to and from the event. MTA buses for routes 3 West End/White Bridge, 5 West End/Bellevue, 21 University Connector and 25 Midtown all travel by or near Centennial Park.
The free, city-wide event runs from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and features a farmers’ market, a reuse village, and a green market. The local festival includes family-friendly games, activities, food and live performances.
